We're more than just savings, so we're happy to say that First Federal Savings Bank is now First Federal Bank & Trust. You'll still receive the same excellent customer service, account offerings and banking help you're used to finding at First Federal.
The Bank's primary federal regulator, the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency, has approved and authorized the new name for the federal mutual association, originally established in 1935. The formal authorization of the new name is a vital step in the regulatory process and represents a significant milestone in 80 years of banking evolution for First Federal, a mutual bank headquartered in Sheridan, Wyoming.
"Our new name, First Federal Bank & Trust, was created to reflect our continuity in our community as well as the financial soundness and stability in our business operations," said David J. Ferries, President and CEO. "For over eighty years we have honored our entrepreneurial roots by staying true to our founding principles. We remain an independent mutual bank that thinks in terms of generations, not quarters."
Today, First Federal offers personal banking, business banking, insurance, and trust services. We hold more than $250 million in assets and we value the role we play in supporting the community.
